'Herr ve go again'

Wigan's Limahl is competing on a German TV contest aimed at providing one former celebrity with a new chance at stardom.

Chris Hamill, the former Kagagoogoo singer, is one of 10 former stars of the German pop scene competing to win a programme called Comeback: Die Grosse Chance - the Big Chance.
The winner gets the chance to record an album with a top producer and tour Germany.
The other contestants are Haddaway, Chris Norman, C.C. Catch, Coolio, Emilia, Markus, Benjamin Boyce, Jazzy and The Weather Girls.
The series of shows is being broadcast on TV channel Pro-7.
For each show the contestant has to perform a song from a particular style of music.
Viewers from Germany, Switzerland and Austria get to judge the performances by telephone voting and gradually the stars are voted out.
In the first show on February 9, Limahl performed Neverending Story.
To stay in the show, he will have to perform some of today's chart hits, a ballad, a disco and dance number and even a heavy rock track.
Kagagoogoo were extremely popular on the continent in their heyday, and Chris Hamill's solo career was far more successful in Germany, Holland and Denmark than in England.
